Huiles Extra fines 150 ml
The range of 208 colors in extra-fine oil paints offers the most extensive color palette in the world, with poppy oil as the main binder for all our colors. This imparts a lustrous sheen, creamy texture, and, most importantly, prevents yellowing of your colors over time. Moreover, it also provides opacity for certain colors, intensity, lightfastness, and unparalleled resistance to aging.
Charvin's extrafine oil colors can be used for traditional painting techniques, including Flemish methods, by utilizing appropriate mediums. Additionally, due to its thick texture, it is well-suited for impasto painting techniques, particularly for Plein Air painting.
The production of Charvin oil colors is based on ancient recipes (established in 1830), which have been used to create oil colors for artists such as Cézanne, Bonnard, and Ambrogiani. We employ Swiss Buhler tricylinders, machines commonly used in the production of high-end cosmetics, for our manufacturing process.
